Train For Life Fitness & Lifestyle Consulting is a local Saskatoon personal training and fitness company owned by AndreaDoepker-Gavidia, B.Sc.Kin. We have provided personal training and fitness services in Saskatoon since September 2007. We encourage you to book your complimentary consultation to meet with a Trainer to discover how we can help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
Feel confident knowing that your trainer will guide you through a program based on exercise physiology, which is suited to your current fitness level and goals. Whether you prefer to exercise in our private home fitness studio, your own home, or outdoors, Train For Life has a program for you.
Our complimentary intitial consultation is designed to review and discuss your health history, physical activity levels, nutrition habits and set fitness and lifestyle goals. This consultation takes place with a CSEP (Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology) Certified Personal Trainer or Certified Exercise Physiologist.
Personal & Partner Training
Meet for personalized training sessions with a knowledgeable trainer who will design effective programs to help you achieve your goals. Whether you’re new to exercise, a competitive athlete or somewhere in between, discover what exercises are right for you and experience a positive change in your health and fitness.
Training can include muscular endurance & strength, flexibility, aerobic, speed & agility and balance. We offer personal & partner fitness training in our private home studio as well as offer mobile training in your own home or work place fitness facility.
Group Personal Training
From rip:60s and ViPRs to the agility ladder, the combinations are endless! With a small group of up to four, you’ll be sure to get the personalized attention you require from your Certified Personal Trainer.
Boot Camp & Classes
Boot Camp Blast is designed for healthy adults (13 years +) of all fitness levels. Challenge your body to become it's fittest! Learn correct exercise techniques while testing your body in innovative ways. Register online.
Fitness For You is a privately booked class for your sports team, group or work place. We offer a welcoming fitness environment where you can learn at a comfortable pace to improve your fitness. Contact us for availability.
Fitness For You & Baby lets you return to exercise gradually and safely following your pregnancy (6 weeks- 24 months) with the guidance of a Certified Exercise Physiologist. This class offers a mix of strength of aerobic training. Use what you and your baby are comfortable with; use a stroller, carrier or let your little one(s) crawl around on the grass during class. Work Place Lunch & Learns
We offer work place presentations through Lunch & Learns designed to meet the needs of your work place. We also offer personal training and fitness classes in your corporate gym, school, fitness facility or outdoors in the summer. You don't need any fancy equipment... if you have an open space to use we can develop programs accordingly and bring additional equipment as needed.
We pride ourselves on offering educated and experienced personal training and fitness services.
CSEP Certified Personal Trainers (CPT) require a minimum 2 year College Diploma or 2 years of University coursework in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or a related field. CPTs are required to complete 25 + hours of practical work with healthy populations, pass a National Written Exam with a minimum of 70% as well as pass Practical Evaluation Stations.
CSEP Certified Exercise Physiologists (CEP) require the successful completion of a 4 year University Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field. CEPs are required to complete 300+ hours of practical work with both healthy and unhealthy populations which include individuals with cardiopulmonary conditions, musculoskeletal conditions, metabolic conditions, neuromuscular conditions, and aging. CEPS are also required to pass a National Written Exam with a minimum of 75% as well as pass Objective Standardized Practical Evaluations.
