Andrea Doepker-Gavidia B.Sc.Kin
Fitness & Wellness Coach, Founder
I feel most alive and energized when I am connecting with nature through activities such as hiking in the mountains or biking along the river with my family. I strive to maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to have the energy and fitness abilities to experience these passions with family and friends. This is what Train For Life means to me!
I am passionate about helping you improve your quality of life by helping you make positive changes to your wellbeing. By incorporating fitness training into your routine you’ll be able to develop the physical abilities you require to participate in activities that you enjoy in life. This can also promote better emotional and mental health!
Living an active and healthy lifestyle does take some planning and effort. With two young children, a husband working shift work and being an entrepreneur, I have a good understanding of the importance of planning ahead! I’m happy to share with you my approaches on how to incorporate workouts and family activities into your life, as well as meal planning strategies, all backed by my educational background in Kinesiology.

Passion and enthusiasm for life took me to stunning places and remarkable people throughout the world. With Yoga gradually becoming part of the journey, the appreciation of life keeps unveiling in the smallest details. To be able to share the joy of Yoga is to me a startling gift for which I am grateful every day.
My approach to yoga is one that starts by honouring the unique alignment of each body and grows towards the encouragement of individual self-study, personal inquiry and growth. With a sensitive and caring tone yet creative and fun flavor, my classes are focused and very naturally flowing. You will leave my classes light-hearted, positive as well as grounded and empowered.
I have taught large groups as well as small groups of families, friends or partners that like to share the practice of Yoga with each other. I have also taught kids and Mums & Tots. My recent new love is to teach small groups or private classes to individuals that have physical challenges (arthritis, fibromyalgia, joint pain or injuries), who may not feel safe in a larger group setting.
